Ginseng has multi-directional pharmacological properties. Some data suggest that ginseng can enhance physical endurance, which, in turn, leads to protection of the cardiovascular system. However, not all experiments are conclusive. For this reason, main aim research was perform a meta-analysis and review studies published between years 2013 2023 concerning effect on performance animal human models. Medline, Pubmed, ClinicalKey electronic databases were used analyze data. The search strategy included following criteria: exercise; supplementation; supplements. results supplementation may have positive CK levels studies. Similar observations stated relation serum lactate BUN. Furthermore, study showed significant increase exercise time exhaustion VO2 max after supplementation. literature conducted identified endurance. Due fact most current based models, further models is needed identify effective dosage or form applied be supportive element CVD management.
