ABSTRACT Background Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) treats skin conditions and delays aging using specific formulas. TCM links health to internal organ functions: kidney qi deficiency accelerates aging, whereas spleen leads dry, loose from insufficient blood. The renowned spleen‐tonifying kidney‐nourishing formula “Wan An Wan” moisturizes the skin, but its antiageing mechanism remains unclear. Aims aim of this study was investigate development strategy comprehensive methodological framework for incorporating into cosmetics assess action application potential WAW in mitigating aging. Results In vitro experiments revealed that after optimizing extraction active ingredients tailored formula, it effectively inhibited NO production tyrosinase activity increased filaggrin, AQP, HAS2 mRNA expression. Moreover, ingredients, including morroniside, were also analyzed separately. Mechanistic studies upregulated expression TGF‐β1 gene associated with ECM downregulated MMP‐2/MMP‐9 genes degradation, regulating cell behaviors such as migration, adhesion, proliferation thereby maintaining healthy state skin. Conclusions study, an overall applying care solutions established, value modern dermatologic applications revealed, innovative raw materials effects developed, new ideas fields dermatology provided.
