family,
occupies
significant

medicines.
Traditionally,
it
has
been
employed
to
address
various
diseases,
including
colds,
coughs,
fever,
indigestion,
asthma,
influenza.
Recent
phytochemical
investigations
have
identified
presence
terpenoids,
flavonoids,
phenolic
acids,
anthraquinones,
alkanes,
polysaccharides
,
with
terpenoids
being
primary
bioactive
constituents.
Notably,
both
vitro
vivo
studies
demonstrated
its
diverse
benefits,
such
as
neuroprotective,
anti-asthmatic,
anti-inflammatory,
gut
improvement,
