Abstract Millingtonia hortensis is extensively grown for decorative purposes due to its beautiful flowers and fragrant characteristics. an unexplored plant utilization of chemical constituents therapeutic applications. Therefore, the present review thoroughly analyzes botanical features, composition, biological pharmacological effects M. essential oil (MHEO) extracts. This employed leading scientific databases Google Scholar, Scopus, Web Science, PubMed between 2013 end September 2024 combined terms, hortensis, Botany, oil, phytochemistry activity. The MHEO yield varied 0.02 3.57%. main extract include solanesol (25.7%), trans-farnesol (19.7%), nerolidol (8.2%). active exhibit various capabilities, such as antioxidant, antimicrobial, anticancer, anti-inflammatory, larvicidal, among other activities. However, several investigations lacked appropriate experimental settings, proper doses positive negative controls. Furthermore, many were exclusively carried out utilizing cell lines animal models. Thus, this study suggested that further research should be in a setting perform on human patients. would broaden scope use pharmaceutical industry.

Glaesserella parasuis (G. parasuis) infection is responsible for Glässer’s disease in pigs. G. could trigger piglet immunosuppression, but the mechanism of inducing immunosuppression by remains unknown. Macrophage migration inhibitory factor (MIF)/CD74 axis has been shown to participate inflammation response and function MIF/CD74 during elicited not fully explored. This experiment explored efficacy baicalin on alleviation through regulating polarization via signaling pathway. Our data indicated that reduced IL-1β, IL-6, IL-8, IL-18, TNF-α, COX-2 expression, regulated expression spleen. Immunohistochemistry analysis showed enhanced CD74 protein levels spleen piglets induced parasuis. Baicalin PI3K/Akt/mTOR pathway RAF/MEK/ERK activation, modified autophagy-related proteins Beclin-1, P62, LC3B, promoted M2 M1 polarization, CD3, CD4, CD8, TIM3 study reveals important functions parasuis-induced may offer a new therapeutic method control infection.
