This study investigated the optimal tannic acid dosage and assessed tolerance levels in broiler chickens. In experiment 1, 525 broilers were randomly divided into 5 treatment groups, control group (CON group) groups TA1 to TA4, corresponding treatments of 0.025, 0.05, 0.075, 0.1 % acid, respectively, determine effect on growth performance gut health. Experiment 2 was performed evaluate acid; 416 (CTR), 0.075 (TA), 0.375 (5TA), 0.75 (10TA) groups. first experiment, compared with that CON group, ileal intestinal villi height crypt depth ratio showed a quadratic curve increase supplementation (P < 0.05). Adding 0.05 significantly improved performance, morphology, barrier function Tannic concentrations increased abundance Firmicutes Lactobacillaceae ileum decreased Vibrionaceae Yersiniaceae 2, TA CTR The F/G higher 5TA 10TA than 0.05), had reduced body weight d 21 addition resulted significant glomerular glandular hyperplasia, as well muscularis thickening gizzard mucosa. However, could not tolerate doses above. may protect proventriculus mucosal layer, reduce atrophy, enhance by positively influencing microbiota, villus function.
