Background: In Indonesia, mining companies such as PT X, which has an IUJP for mineral exploration drilling, must implement SMKP Minerba. This system, is aligned with government guidelines, includes seven elements Policy, Planning, Organization, Implementation, Evaluation, Documentation, and Review. Research purposes: The objective to analyse the effect of implementing Mineral Coal Mining Safety Management System (SMKP Minerba) on work safety performance Exploration Drilling Company at X. methods: study used a descriptive quantitative method case approach, Minerba documents, including Performance records. Descriptive statistics, simple linear regression, Pearson Correlation assessed variable impacts relationships. From 144 engineers, Slovin formula required minimum sample 98. result: reported that Internal Audit achieved score 84.1%. was evaluated across four key indicators. Worker Participation, Leadership Responsibility, Incident Analysis Statistics, Occupational Diseases Incidents, Risk Control Efforts, yielding overall 0.78 out 1, placing it in "Planned" category. correlation analysis indicated positive association between Position, Tenure, Scores Performance. ANOVA demonstrated significant impact Position Tenure Conclusion: found employees holding higher positions, possessing longer tenure, achieving audit scores exhibited superior performance. application positively influences operations contributing sustainable enhancement practices Indonesia.
