Daylily flower buds are edible and medical homologous with health care functions pharmaceutical values. However, they about to open deteriorate after harvest, owing ripening senescence. To obtain a theoretical reference for understanding the postharvest senescence mechanisms of daylily buds, dynamic quality characteristics were explored by physiology, biochemistry, widely targeted metabolomics. During whole storage process, texture, total flavonoid contents, antioxidant activities indicated DPPH, ABTS, FRAP assays appeared in declining trends. Based on metabolomics, 518, 443, 507 differentially accumulated metabolites (DAMs) screened initial period (CK0 vs. CK2), mid‐storage (CK2 CK4), end (CK4 CK6), respectively. A 224 common DAMs CK0 CK2, CK2 CK4, CK4 CK6 closely related daylily. special focus was given interplay between marker flavonoids activities. 11 compounds showed positive correlation results capacity, including pelargonidin 3−O−beta−D−glucoside 5−O−(6−coumaroyl−beta−D−glucoside), typhaneoside, 5‴−O−feruloyl complanatoside B, 7−neohesperidosides, taxifolin, rutin (trihydrate), (hydrate), 3,5,7,3′,4′−pentahydroxyflavylium−3−O−beta−D−xylopyranosyl−(1−2)−beta−D−glucopyranoside, kuromanin (chloride), neoeriocitrin, which have potential be biomarkers capacity quality. The study innovatively served as valuable guide progress suggested markers buds.

Nightlily (Hemerocallis citrina Baroni) is an important vegetable with edible floral organs. It possesses considerable economic value due to its edibility, ornamental, and medicinal properties. However, the genetic linkage map construction quantitative trait locus (QTL) mapping of nightlily have not been performed. This study used two varieties ‘Dongzhuanghuanghua’ ‘Chonglihua’ as cross parents establish intraspecific hybridization population 120 F1 progenies. The ‘Datonghuanghua’ (female) variety ‘Lullaby Baby’ (male) daylily were selected construct interspecific 55 A total 965 expressed sequence tag–simple repeats (EST-SSRs), along 20 SSR markers from various sources, for mapping. Among these markers, CT/TC (9.24%) dinucleotide GGA/GAG/AGG (4.67%) trinucleotide repeat motifs most abundant. In map, a 124 resolved into 11 groups, length 1535.07 cM average interval 12.38 cM. Similarly, contained groups but 164 2517.06 cM, 15.35 constructed maps had 48 identical demonstrated good collinearity. collinearity analysis showed that 161 hit genomic published H. genome, indicating high accuracy. Phenotypic data investigated over consecutive years (2018 2019) flower bud fresh weight, dry in populations. nine QTLs associated bud-related traits identified, among which those located on group 8 4 stability. All LOD values less than PVE 15% years. first report about intra- QTL based map. results promote marker-assisted breeding offer insights mechanisms underlying genus Hemerocallis.
