The North Gas Company in Kirkuk, Iraq produces a sour gas stream that is loaded with considerable amounts of H2S and CO2, at concentrations 2.95% 2.54%, respectively. A previous study successfully treated this produced sweet by adopting natural sweetening process using ProMax simulation software. However, also an acid was amount H2S. processed sulfur recovery unit to protect the environment. Claus major technology used produce elemental from SO2 gases.
