Milk is a widely consumed food rich in macro- and micronutrients that play an important role health preservation. While it affects positively human nutrient energy uptake, the presence of pesticide residues could, however, counterbalance these benefits negatively affect health. This systematic review provides overview studies on during last decade related risk assessment. Thirty-five original articles published since 2010 reporting levels raw cow's milk 69 regions from 15 countries were reviewed. Data showed residue ranked as, DDTs> permethrin> bifenthrin> Drins> endrin> endosulfan> HCHs> cyhalothrin> cypermethrin> heptachlor> ethion> coumaphos> deltamethrin> dimethoate, chlorpyriphos> profenofos> malathion> dichlorvos> parathion methyl> carbaryl> aldicarb> carbofuran> methamidophos. High geographic variation was observed, many appear as contaminated zones with high risks such Punjab Pakistan (× 3080 > MRL × 113 for Cypermethrin Drins, respectively), Sand Pedro Columbia 1090 200 endrin Gezira State Sudan 109 DDTs). The assessment humans indicated HQ Drins values 1 (Sucre, Casa Azul, San Pedro, Costanera, Sabanas, Sinú Medio, Jorge regions), (Punjab region). Moreover, Medio (Colombia) heptachlor Costanera region, Sabanas (Colombia). Furthermore, HI seven Colombia, region Pakistan, Egypt Turkey, suggesting serious risk. In conclusion, to avoid contamination by pesticides, necessary develop eco-friendly alternatives chemical pesticides promote integrated pest management (IPM) strategies.
