The present study is on the fabrication of new photocatalytic nanocomposites (Dy2O3-SiO2) employing a basic agent, tetraethylenepentamine (Tetrene), through simple, efficient and, quick sonochemical approach. features fabricated nanocomposite were examined variety microscopic and spectroscopic methods such as XRD, EDS, TEM, FTIR, DRS, FESEM. outcomes morphological studies demonstrated that by proper tuning sonication time ultrasonic power (10 min 400 W), porous composed sphere-shaped nanoparticles with particle size in range 20 to 60 nm could be fabricated. energy gap for binary Dy2O3-SiO2 nanophotocatalyst was determined 3.41 eV, making these favorable removing contaminants. performance optimal sample tested photodecomposition several contaminants including erythrosine, thymol blue, eriochrome black T, Acid Red 14, methyl orange, malachite green, Rhodamine B. exhibited superior efficiency toward decomposition studied It able degrade erythrosine pollutant more effectively (92.9%). Optimization each contaminant best achieved at specific amount nanocatalyst. Trapping experiments illustrated hydroxyl radicals involved molecules nanophotocatalyst.

Hospitals played vital role in the maintenance and sustenance of human health. However, hospital activities generate high volume toxic solid liquid containing diverse inorganic, organic microbial wastes released untreated into ecosystem. The management wastewater particular has been a major source concern due to presence unregulated emerging micro-pollutants at concentrations range ng/L μg/L. These pollutants low concentration exert different potential health effects on aquatic species. In this review, formation, composition, properties ecotoxicology selected (Norfloxacin, Ofloxacin, Ciprofloxacin, Clofibric acid Carbamazepine) were reviewed. review also elucidates detection quantification micropollutants by Spectrophotometry techniques, Gas Chromatography, Ion Chromatography-Mass spectrometry, High-Performance Liquid Chromatography.
