The global climate change events are expected to augment the vulnerability of persistent organic pollutants within brownfield areas a certain extent, consequently heightening risk crises faced by these brownfields amidst backdrop environmental changes. However, studies addressing risks from perspective have received limited attention. Nonetheless, detrimental consequences intrinsically linked strategies for mitigating and adapting sustainable urban development, emphasizing critical importance their far-reaching implications. Future poised reflect characteristics such as "High-Precision Prediction, Comprehensive Dimensionality, Full-Cycle Evaluation, Low-Risk Exposure, Commitment Sustainable Development".
