Abstract Colorimetric sensors play a crucial role in promoting on‐site testing, enabling the detection and/or quantification of various analytes based on changes color. These offer several advantages, such as simplicity, cost‐effectiveness, and visual readouts, making them suitable for wide range applications, including food safety monitoring. A critical component portable colorimetric involves their integration with color models effective analysis interpretation output signals. The most commonly used include CIELAB (Commission Internationale de l'Eclairage), RGB (Red, Green, Blue), HSV (Hue, Saturation, Value). This review outlines use via digitalization sensing applications within monitoring field. Additionally, challenges, future directions, considerations are discussed, highlighting significant gap integrating comparative toward determining model that results highest sensor performance. aim this is to underline potential mitigating global impact spoilage contamination health economy, proposing multidisciplinary approach harness full capabilities ensuring safety.

Surfactants are considered as typical emerging pollutants, their extensive use of in disinfectants has hugely threatened the ecosystem and human health, particularly during pandemic coronavirus disease-19 (COVID-19), whereas rapid discrimination multiple surfactants environments is still a great challenge. Herein, we designed fluorescent sensor array based on luminescent metal–organic frameworks (UiO-66-NH2@Au NCs) for specific six (AOS, SDS, SDSO, MES, SDBS, Tween-20). Wherein, UiO-66-NH2@Au NCs were fabricated by integrating UiO-66-NH2 (2-aminoterephthalic acid-anchored-MOFs zirconium ions) with gold nanoclusters (Au NCs), which exhibited dual-emission features, showing good luminescence. Interestingly, due to interactions NCs, can differentially regulate fluorescence property producing diverse "fingerprints", further identified pattern recognition methods. The proposed achieved 100% accuracy identifying various multicomponent mixtures, detection limit range 0.0032 0.0315 mM was successfully employed real environmental waters. More importantly, our findings provided new avenue surfactants, rendering promising technique monitoring against trace multicontaminants.

The cooperation of biocatalysis and chemocatalysis in a catalytic cascade reaction has received extensive attention recent years, whereas its practical applications are still hampered due to the fragility enzymes, poor compatibility between carriers limited efficiency. Herein, biomimetic nanoreactor (GOx@COFs@Os) was presented by integrating glucose oxidase (GOx) Os nanozyme with covalent organic framework (COF) capsule using metal-organic (ZIF-90) as template. obtained GOx@COFs@Os provided capacious microenvironment retain conformational freedom GOx for maintaining activity, wherein enzyme activity COF capsules equal 92.9% free 1.88-folds higher than that encapsulated ZIF-90. Meanwhile, could protect against incompatible environments (high temperature, acid, solvents), resulting improved stability packaged enzymes. Moreover, great pore structure significantly affinity substrates facilitated efficient mass transfer, which achieved 2.19-folds improvement efficiency system, displaying performance reaction. More importantly, successfully employed monitoring, glutathione sensing, bisphenol S detection immunoassay proof-of-concept. Our strategy new avenue biocatalytic encourage wide various fields.
