Drugs do not disappear once they have been excreted. In fact, active principles already measured in the different environmental matrices. A recent study led by scientists from University of has studied presence drugs rivers more than countries, showing that contamination pharmaceuticals is issue and that, concentrations found are frequently harmful to environment. this work, we tried briefly expose problem with medicines, but above all, address possible solutions, perspective field hospital pharmacy. This very complex matter (a wicked problem), since it involves multiple stakeholders visions interests regarding medicines. order find will probably need act at all steps drug's life cycle. Until now, health professionals part problem. It time for us be solution.

The widespread and excessive use of pesticides in modern agricultural practices has caused pesticide contamination the environment, animals, humans, with confirmed serious health consequences. The Yellow River is the main source of water for urban and rural area agricultural irrigation in northern China. Herein, distribution risk assessment perfluoroalkyl acids (PFAAs) were investigated from Shandong Province, total concentration PFAAs (∑PFAAs) surface sediments 37.5–2128 ng/L (mean: 167 ng/L) not detected−6.95 ng/g dry weight (dw) 1.02 dw), respectively. Short-chain PFAAs-perfluorobutanoic acid (PFBA), perfluorohexanoic (PFHxA), perfluorobutane sulfonic (PFBS) most prevalent water. Source analysis showed that firefighting foam (proportion: 31.3 %) textile treatments food packaging 30.3 sources Based on water, ecological potential human health risks assessed. Perfluorooctanoic (PFOA), perfluorononanoate (PFNA), perfluorodecanoate (PFDA) perfluoroundecanoic (PFUnDA) posed nonnegligible some aquatic organisms. Levels (e.g., PFOA, PFNA, PFDA etc.) samples higher than advisory guidelines concentrations worldwide, indicating a risk. Therefore, PFDA, PFUnDA are key focus pollutants standards limits these environments including sediment should be promoted.

Dianchi Caohai Lake is heavily polluted, and a significant increase in chemical oxygen demand (COD) occurs during the transition from dry season to rainy season. In order analyze cause of COD increase, compositional characteristics organic matter were investigated using three-dimensional fluorescence spectroscopy technology. The results showed that most polluted area was located geographic center outer Lake, where reached 29mg/L elevated by 52%, protein-like humus-like features evident fractions. By measuring water it found indexes greater than 2.47, biological index distributed between 0.67 1.06, humification 1.81 3.12. It indicated lake had low strong autochthonous source characteristics. bloom outbreak one main reasons for concentration. This study will provide theoretical support control pollution Lake.
