Accurate monitoring of tetracycline (TC) residues in the environment is crucial for avoiding contaminant risk. Herein, a novel TC biosensor was facilely designed by integrating silver nanoparticles (Ag NPs) into porphyrin metal–organic matrix (Ag@AgPOM) as bifunctional electrochemiluminescence (ECL) probe. Different from step-by-step synthesis co-reaction accelerator and ECL emitter, accelerators Ag NPs were situ-grown on surface 5,10,15,20-tetrakis (4-carboxyphenyl) (TCPP) via simple one-pot approach. Symbiotic Ag@AgPOM formed an intimate interface increased collision efficiency reaction, achieving enhancement TCPP. Under optimized conditions, ternary showed wide linear detection range toward with low limit 0.14 fmol L–1. Compared traditional HPLC ELISA methods, satisfied analytical adaptability made this sensing strategy feasible to monitor complex environmental samples.

Hydrogen sulfide (H2S), a crucial endogenous gasotransmitter, plays significant role in monitoring pathological and physiological processes as well the realm of food safety control. The detection H2S poses numerous challenges due to complexity biological fluids samples high demands for biocompatible probe molecules. To address these challenges, we have developed an innovative silica nanoparticle-based Förster resonance energy transfer (FRET) system with pyrene (Py) pyronine (Pyr) embedded donors acceptors (Pyr@Py-SiO2 NPs). This not only enhances biocompatibility fluorescent probes but also effectively mitigates interference from complex through its dual-mode FRET response. Our study reveals that units within nanoparticles facilitate efficient transfer, enabling both colorimetric ratiometric optical H2S. approach is highly sensitive (detection limit 71.5 nM), rapid (response time ≤10 s), uninfluenced by common anions thiols. Moreover, successfully applied this various practical scenarios, including human urine, onion slices, spoilage. work provides effective method systems real-world samples.
