Abstract A novel phosphorus‐doped graphitic carbon nitride nanosheets (PS‐CN) photocatalyst was prepared by thermal polycondensation and stripping method, its physicochemical properties were characterized. The results show that PS‐CN formed a thin sheet multi‐cavity structure delamination could enhance the surface area, light reception, adsorption capacity. activated sodium percarbonate system (PS‐CN/SPC) developed for degradation of dyeing wastewater with methylene blue (MB) as target pollutant mechanism analyzed. At room temperature (20 °C), rate MB in PS‐CN/SPC within 10 min (88.13 %) three times pure g‐C 3 N 4 . In addition, completely degraded under visible 60 min. Moreover, exhibited excellent reusability rates have remained above 96 % five consecutive cycles. free radical quenching experiments showed hole (h + ), hydroxyl (•OH) superoxide (•O 2 − ) all participated degradation, •OH main active species. would provide high‐value solution treatment dye due to low cost raw materials, superior photocatalytic activity, simple synthesis catalyst.

The methods of periodates and sodium percarbonate activation are considered for planning strategic approaches to increasing the efficiency intensity oxidative degradation organic pollutants in aquatic environments. A classification periodate is proposed, including by external energy effects, catalytic methods, other (e.g., hydrogen peroxide, hydroxylamine, alkaline medium). Activation were divided into homogeneous heterogeneous methods.
