ABSTRACT
Microplastics
(MPs)
have
become
a
significant
environmental
concern,
but
data
on
their
presence
in
potato
gardens
are
limited.
This
study
aims
to
identify
and
quantify
MPs
soil,
organic
fertilizer,
irrigation
water,
plants
gardens.
Soil,
samples
were
collected
from
fields.
Analysis
was
carried
out
using
microscope
Fourier
transform
infrared
spectroscopy
(FTIR)
the
shape,
color,
quantity,
type
of
MP
polymer.
The
results
indicate
contamination
with
most
dominant
shape
fibers
(86%)
fragments
(8%),
color
black
(35%)
blue
(27%),
abundances
0.10–9.20
g
−1
,
as
well
polyethylene
terephthalate
(PET)
high‐density
(HDPE)
polymers.
