In treating complex sewage containing microorganisms, flocculation and disinfection typically occur as distinct stages, involving the addition of flocculants disinfectants separately. To integrate oil removal disinfection, a novel quaternary ammonium-hydrophobic ternary template polymer, TPAMA-DA, was engineered with capabilities for both sterilization functions. Optimal copolymer characteristics were determined through Response Surface Methodology preparation parameters TPAMA-DA. The prepared applied to model wastewater, results indicate that, in emulsified E. coli single systems, TPAMA-DA achieved rates 95.71% 97.19% OD600 (residual = 0.0239), respectively, showcasing superior antibacterial compared TPAMA PAMA. Meanwhile, exhibited excellent efficiency across broad range pH environments, contrasting sharply its pH-sensitive properties. Surprisingly, applying oil-E. binary it not only maintained high but also showed certain adaptability activity, suggesting TPAMA-DA's outstanding ability simultaneous action colibinary systems. Impressively, SEM 3D-EEM analyses confirm that disrupts bacterial cell, resulting death coli. These findings may pave way new avenues development multi-functional, efficient, low-consumption, environmentally friendly high-performance copolymers dual sterilization.

Amidation of lactobionic acid with N,N-dimethylaminopropyltriamine was conducted to obtain N-(3′-dimethylaminopropyl)-lactamido-3-aminopropane (DDLPD), which quaternized bromoalkanes different carbon chain lengths synthesize double-stranded lactosylamide quaternary ammonium salt N-[N′[3-(lactosylamide)]propyl-N′-alkyl] propyl-N,N-dimethyl-N-alkylammonium bromide (CnDDLPB, n = 8, 10, 12, 14, 16). The surface activity and the adsorption aggregation behaviors surfactants were investigated via equilibrium tension, dynamic light scattering, cryo-electron microscopy measurements in an aqueous solution. application properties products terms wettability, emulsification, foam properties, antistatic, resistance, bacteriostatic tested. CnDDLPB exhibited a low tension 27.82 mN/m. With increase length, critical micellar concentration CnDDLPBD decreased. Cryo-electron revealed that all except C8DDLPB formed stable monolayer, multi-layer, multi-compartmental vesicle structures C14DDLPB has best emulsification performance on soybean oil, time 16.6 min; good wetting spreading polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) when length is from 8 contact angle can be lowered 33°~40°; foam, typical low-foaming products; C10DDLPB both show antistatic properties. have C12DDLPB antimicrobial property, inhibition rate 99.29% 95.28% for E. coli Gluconococcus aureus, respectively, at 350 ppm.
