In terms of environmental protection and the sustainable development society, constraint dye concentrations in industrial wastewater is vitally important for every country. this study, egg white protein (EWP)–soybean isolate (SPI) hierarchical-network hydrogel beads reinforced with calcium alginate are devised using a one-step chemical crosslinking. The prepared EWP/SPI beads, specific surface area 26.55 m2∙g−1, possess self-floating ability that enhances their solid–liquid separation methylene blue (MB) from sewage achieves adsorption equilibrium within 60 min. investigation behavior indicates results fitted well Langmuir isotherm mode pseudo-first-order kinetic model. Based on model model, capacity maximum towards MB 187.495 336.265 mg∙g−1, respectively. Furthermore, favorable regeneration demonstrated, removal efficiency decreasing 94% to 82% (10 mg dose, 100 mg∙L−1 MB, pH 7, 25 °C) after five adsorption–desorption cycles. resulting hydrophilicity exhibited good stability (above 80%) 7 days, suggesting potential recycling diverse complex environments. Therefore, inexpensive floating provide new insight organic pollutant treatment wastewater.
