Abstract As the value ranges presented in literature with tables and graphs that feature soil index properties related to swelling potential are intertwined, their interpretation may pose certain challenges. In this study, spatial distribution maps of were created using data obtained from research, those values study area assessed by combining all maps, resulting a single comprehensive map new limit high plasticity cohesive soils. Soils evaluated according newly determined ranges. The findings show soils region should have parameters potential. for demonstrate are: % natural water content <18, passing through #200 sieve >90, liquid >65, >21, pressure >240 kPa, percentage >6.
