Chiral succinate dehydrogenase inhibitor (SDHI) fungicides are widely used in agricultural production, but there is insufficient research on their environmental risk water-sediment ecosystems. Here, the stereoselective fate and toxic effects of chiral SDHI fungicide, penflufen, system were investigated. The results showed that S-penflufen more persistent water, sediment, zebrafish. Additionally, sorption coefficient (Koc) sediment uptake rate constant (Ku) zebrafish higher than those R-penflufen. acute toxicity to zebrafish, Daphnia magna Chironomus kiiensis 32-, 6.1-, 8.9-fold AlphaFold2 molecular docking had stronger binding capability with SDH three organisms Therefore, induced sub-chronic R-penflufen, even at 0.05 mg/L. multi-omics analysis affected tricarboxylic acid cycle antioxidant, detoxification, immune responses, ultimately affecting metabolic processes cellular function. overall indicate has a systems. Moreover, combining techniques facilitates elucidation mechanism pesticides.
