Cold atmospheric plasma (CAP) is considered to be a very promising cancer treatment method due its “selective” killing effect on cells. The CAP can inhibit tumor inflammatory responses and activate the immune system by reducing expression of key factor Interleukin-6 (IL-6). However, influence strong alternating electric field induced conformation function IL-6 remains unclear. In this study molecular dynamics simulation used investigate effects fields with different frequencies intensities IL-6. We statistically analyze root mean square fluctuations, deviation, secondary structural alterations, dipole moment changes under parameters. Furthermore, docking utilized assess receptor-binding process. results show that when frequency below 30 MHz intensity exceeds 0.5 V/nm, average increases, leading in rigid regions at C-terminus which maintain stability. Specifically, salt bridges stabilize long helices rupture, number α-helices decreases. outcomes reveal distance between binding residues conformationally altered receptor thereby disrupting normal process potentially impairing biological functionality. This explains internal interaction mechanism CAP-induced affecting IL-6-related micro level, provides important theoretical basis for optimizing parameters practical application inflammation development effective therapy strategies.
