Cuscuta spp. (dodders) are parasitic plants that belong to the Convolvulaceae family. In nature, dodder often forms a bridge-like connection between two or more host like, which is known as bridge. Cadmium (Cd2+) an important heavy metal ion affects plant growth. However, it remains unclear whether Cd2+ treatment can directly indirectly induce transcriptomic changes in through this study, pot experiment was conducted investigate effects of on donor and neighboring recipient connected by Transcriptome analysis revealed significantly affected expression genes involved 'Plant-pathogen interaction', 'phenylpropanoid biosynthesis', 'isoflavonoid biosynthesis' pathways both at 2, 12, 24, 48 h. induced bridge, included processes related oxidation-reduction ('oxidation-reduction process', 'oxidoreductase activity', 'regulation transcription') Ca2+ signaling ('Plant-pathogen 'MAPK pathway', 'AMPK 'mTOR pathway'). Additionally, mRNA transfer observed from soybean dodder. mRNA, ROS might play crucial roles signal transduction process stress. could These results contribute better understanding how bridges respond environmental stresses.
