The high-temperature roasting/smelting process of copper and zinc concentrates will cause the mercury in concentrate to evaporate into flue gas, most gas eventually enter waste acid its ionic form. A highly efficient removal agent M201 with long carbon chains loaded active functional groups can adsorb disperse fine particles for system. Through bridging, linear structure is woven a network achieve large-scale capture dispersion colloidal substances. recommended operating conditions developing deep purification technology are as follows: reagent concentration 50 g/L, 6 mL/L added solution, room temperature, mixing time 5 min, air flotation 10 ventilation rate 0.1 L/min, H2SO4 33.67 residual content 2 mg/L (the reaches 0.01 after two-stage treatment). Meanwhile, arsenic 21.9 mg/L. This study shows better separation achieves one-step removal.

Heavy metal pollution in agricultural soils pose significant risks to food safety and human health, necessitating effective monitoring assessment techniques. Recognizing characteristic spectral features is essential for accurately assessing the ecological associated with heavy pollution. To explore potential of utilizing hyperspectrum evaluate ecologial metals paddy soil, study investigated characteristics (350 ~ 2500 nm) (Cd, Pb, Cr, Cu) rice soil Xiangtan County, Hunan Province, China. Potential risk index (RI) was employed level, derivative transformations (first R′ second R″) were applied eliminate hyperspectral noise. Results identified Cd as primary pollutant followed by Cu, Cr. Serious concentrated riverine cropland areas. After applying transformations, correlation between reflectance significantly improved. The R″ transformation demonstrated highest correlations (r = 0.95) at 2046 nm high category, while exhibited strongest negative − 0.94) 2059 nm. This highlights analysis an tool estimating posed soils. findings provide valuable insights improving practices informing management strategies environments.

This study utilized the Schiff base reaction as a chemical bonding method to successfully graft 2-aminopyridine onto oxidized sodium alginate, resulting in formation of modified alginate (OSM). Subsequently, OSM/polyacrylic acid (OSM/PAA) hydrogel was synthesized via thermally initiated free radical polymerization process and evaluated an adsorbent for removal heavy metal ions from wastewater. Comprehensive characterization prepared samples performed using FT-IR, SEM, TGA. The influence temperature, pH, dosage, contact time, ion concentration on adsorption capacity OSM/PAA simulated wastewater thoroughly investigated. Additionally, detailed analysis thermodynamics, kinetics, mechanisms conducted. Experimental results indicated that at 25 °C, pH 5.0, dosage 0.4 g/L, maximum capacities Cu(II), Zn(II), Ni(II) were 367.64 mg/g, 398.4 409.83 respectively. These findings suggest by is spontaneous, heterogeneous with significant potential practical applications treatment.
