The recovery of nitrogen (N) and phosphorus (P) through the controlled crystallization magnesium ammonium phosphate (MAP), a promising slow-release fertilizer, is highly attractive approach in wastewater treatment. In this study, pilot continuous flow reactor was designed to process leachate from rural waste transfer stations. MAP precipitation performed under optimized conditions: pH 9.5, Mg/P/N molar ratio 1.0/1.0/1.0, hydraulic retention time (HRT) 40 min, with stirring speeds 360 rpm for fast tank slow tank. maximum NH4+-N PO43--P were observed as 84.66% 95.04%. recovered crystals primarily identified (90-94%), minimal contamination metal ions. Biotoxicity tests showed that not only promoted growth cucumber oilseed rape, but also safe earthworms soil. addition, application fertilizer resulted competitive yields rates rape over 54-day cultivation period, compared commercial fertilizers. Heavy analysis confirmed cultivated met World Health Organization safety standards. These results suggest can be cycled back soils an effective fertilizer.
