Drug-induced liver injury (DILI) has emerged as an urgent clinical challenge. It is characterized by mitochondrial dysfunction in cells, which leads to abnormal changes H2O2 levels within the mitochondria. Super-resolution imaging allows for observation of fine structure mitochondria at nanometer scale, potentially enabling detection during DILI subcellular organelle level. Here, we report design and synthesis a novel H2O2-activated probe levels. SML near-infrared (NIR) fluorescent with large Stokes shift (260 nm) sensing mechanism based on intramolecular charge transfer (ICT) switching. was conducted using structured illumination microscopy (SIM).
