The objective of this work was to assess the impacts permanent reopening Grand-Bassam inlet on seasonal dynamics thirteen trace metals in superficial sediments area II from Ébrié system. In its implementation, sediment samples were collected over a year (from May 2023 April 2024). concentrations these obtained by inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP MS) according ISO 17294-2 after dissolution NF X31-147. results showed significant input meteorological inputs during rainy, cold, and flood seasons, except for Cr, whose presence substrates mainly related strong marine intrusion hot season. modification geochemical physical characteristics due pass significantly influenced study period. A reduction use containing high efficient treatment anthropogenic discharges with metal content watershed ecosystem should be considered support depollution initiated inlet.
