ABSTRACT Cellulose nanocrystals (CNC), a sustainable nanomaterial, exhibit great promise as template for fabricating supercapacitor electrodes. This study investigates the use of CNC precursor synthesizing carbon dots (CD) and in situ polymerization polyaniline (PANI). The combined potential CNC, PANI, CD developing electrodes is being explored. PANI‐CNC‐CD nanocomposite electrode demonstrates gravimetric specific capacitance 488 F g −1 at 2 A , outperforming PANI‐CNC nanocomposite. Furthermore, symmetric utilizing composite working achieving impressive results, including 101 an energy density 14 Wh kg retention 82% even after 10,000 cycles. presents effective strategy cost‐efficient easily prepared nanocellulose‐based electrodes, advancing their demand applications while aligning with United Nations Sustainable Development Goals by promoting renewable materials.
