In this work, multiple linear regression was used to obtain mathematical models with which it is possible predict the permeability of isotropic porous media. With aim, a database containing binary files digital images wide variety structures built. These allowed: 1) extraction statistical and morphological descriptors solid void phases that were as independent variables, 2) calculation (dependent variable) by using lattice Boltzmann method (LBM). The selection constitute carried out according stepwise backward elimination. order fulfill linearity assumption, necessary transform some taking their natural logarithm. After removing influential values, regressions analyzed different statistics hypotheses testing. One able explain 93.3% variability function structure.

Accurate characterization of soil hydraulic conductivity influenced by temperature under a centrifugal environment is important for and geotechnical engineering. Therefore, temperature-influenced scaling law in centrifuge modeling was deduced, temperature-controlled falling-head permeameter apparatus specifically designed also developed. Subsequently, series tests were conducted varying accelerations to achieve the following objectives: (1) examine performance apparatus, (2) investigate influence acceleration on sand its factor, (3) validate proposed conductivity. The main conclusions study are as follows. Firstly, demonstrated good sealing effectively controlled both specimen fluid. Secondly, not constant but varied over time, likely due presence radial seepage addition vertical test progressed. Thirdly, significantly factor same acceleration. it essential closely monitor models during tests. Finally, measured calculated values index showed agreement, verifying law.
