Human activities have profound impacts on land use and the supply–demand balance of ecosystem services (ESs). Various activities, such as urban construction, rural planning, inter-basin water transfer projects, continuously reshape patterns. This is a case study Anhui section Yangtze-Huaihe Water Diversion Project. Data from 2000, 2010, 2020 analyzed. Additionally, patch-generating simulation (PLUS) model utilized to quantify specific diversion project construction supply demand ESs. The results indicate that comprehensive dynamic attitude during period significantly increased, rising 0.16 13.79%, mainly affected forest, areas, land, unused land. Specifically, led significant changes in purification, biodiversity, and, especially, hydrological regulation services. migration residents impacted for also found correlation between ES demand: proportion cultivated positively correlated with balance, while grassland, areas negatively correlated. provides empirical data understanding environmental socio-economic large-scale projects offers scientific basis local mitigation control adverse impacts. Through quantitative analysis prediction, this research effectively bridges gap theory practice, providing important references sustainable regional development.
