The direct vapor equilibration-laser spectroscopy (DVE-LS) method can be used to measure the stable isotopes of soil water (δ2H and δ18O), a technique that is easier operate quicker for sampling compared traditional cryogenic vacuum distillation (CVD) method. However, isotope values thus obtained often deviate from true value, which affected by equilibrium temperature during measurement process. Therefore, this study conducted an indoor experiment on five samples varying textures. dry was wetted reference four different content (SWC) then equilibrated at temperatures. deviation value (SWIDV) DVE-LS determined building correction equation between SWIDV influencing factors (equilibrium temperature, clay (SCC), SWC, after were those calculated CVD field-collected check accuracy. results shows Δδ2H increased with increasing content, but decreased SWC. multi-factor variance analysis SCC, SWC significantly method, insignificantly Δδ18O values. equations (3) built temperatures, RMSE 4.07‰ 1.24‰ 8.99‰ 4.14‰, respectively, as calibrated collected in Changwu Suide counties. under various temperatures accuracy obtaining promoted application analysis.
