Zirconium sulfide nanoparticles (ZrxSy) are prepared on a flexible substrate of carbon cloth (CC) via one-step synthesis approach using the low-pressure chemical vapor deposition (LPCVD) technique. The scanning electron microscopy (SEM) image reveals that particle sizes in range ca. 3~23 nm with an average value ~13.02 nm. synthesized ZrxSy composed ZrS3 and Zr9S2 phases, which is verified by X-ray diffraction (XRD) high-resolution transmission (HR-TEM). By ZrxSy/CC as supercapacitor electrode, capacitance extracted from cyclic voltammetry measurement 406 C g−1 at scan rate 5 mV s−1; values obtained GCD curves current density 0.5 A 1 151 134 g−1, respectively. These results highlight promising potential material for future energy-storage technology.
