The use of ChatGPT in university academic writing has generated a growing debate about its implications for the originality, quality, and authenticity writing. Its accelerated adoption creation reports, essays, theses raises serious questions integrity, possible increase plagiarism, potential decrease critical skills among students. This bibliometric review study analyzes writing, covering both indicators qualitative analysis to identify areas on which research this field been focused. A mixed descriptive approach is employed, based 71 manuscripts reviewed extracted from Scopus database. are identified distributed three categorized as “Quality development skills”, “Academic integrity ethics writing”, “Educational assessment”.
