Extreme climate events have become more frequent and had serious impacts on the global community. Consequently, risk associated with change has gained increasing attention been considered as a new source of factors. To understand socio-economic this risk, systematically measuring around world is critical for researchers policymakers. Building daily observations from meteorological stations, Climate Physical Risk Index (CPRI) dataset constructed 170 countries, paying special to four extreme events: low temperature (LTD), high (HTD), rainfall (ERD), drought (EDD). A comprehensive index physical each country also constructed, covering period 1993 2023. The will be updated regularly. Subnational indices or detailed regional are available upon request.
