The present study aims to examine the determinants of users’ attitude and behavioral intention (BI) toward continuous usage fantasy cricket apps (FCA) based on theory planned behavior (TPB) as a research framework. Applying non-probabilistic sampling technique, survey data was collected through structured questionnaire circulated 320 users (FCA), just after Indian Premier League season 17, but during International Cricket Council Men’s T20 World Cup 2024, held in June 2024. findings reveal that monetary gain has emerged leading determinant forming towards using FCA, followed by knowledge, fandom, celebrity trustworthiness. Notably, FCA is majorly determined attitude, perceived control subjective norms. Results have also shown mediates relationship trustworthiness, with their BI continuously FCA. This offers an important theoretical contribution literature sport provides several managerial implications gaming app companies, which help them understand what drives make appropriate strategies encouraging sports fans use play entertaining themselves.
