The current study was aimed to investigate the ethno-pharmacology, diversity, biological potentials of different mushrooms species from District Swabi, Pakistan. Ethno-pharmacological data collected 73 respondents based on interview, group discussion and field visits. Quantitative analysis such as informant consent factor (ICF), Use value (UV), Relative Frequency Citation (RFC) were done. Morphological identification mushrooms, extract preparation, phytochemical screening statistical conducted. Phytochemical six mushroom revealed that saponins, alkaloids, glycosides, flavonoids phenols present in selected while tannin steroids (−) Agaricus arvensis. In Morchella conica only absent, Qunion Polyporus tuberaster, Pleurotus ostreatus Omphalotus olearius found absent. Moisture contents (10.17 ± 1.27) crude fats (5.26 1.50) olearius. Highest content fibers (26.57 0.86) carbohydrates (62.18 0.73) ostreatus. ash (12.62 0.46) reported tuberaster. respondents' consensus values ranged 1.66 61.74 which highest ICF lowest 1.66. high RFC recorded for (0.67) observed Clitocybe frondasa (0.05). results analgesic activity compared diclofenac (Standard drug). extracts aqueous methanolic most active at level (400 mg/kg). As antipyretic agents, analyzed anti-inflammatory compare drug) where (200 mg/kg) be very active. Finally, with (ICF UV) further investigated phytochemicals pharmacological significant potentials. This provides basic ground information can used explore novel mushroom-based medicines treatment various diseases. commercial cultivation represents a promising opportunity leverage their diverse health benefits nutritional properties. By prioritizing research methods educating public, potential vital components both nutrition medicine significantly realized, impacting outcomes contributing sustainable agricultural practices.
