Improving the surface properties of AA2024-T3 aluminium alloys is crucial for achieving durable and sustainable joints. For this purpose, were first sandblasted at 4, 5 6 bar pressures using oxide glass sphere abrasives. Then, samples subjected to chemical treatment resulting in a hybrid process. The surface-treated characterised by 3D image analysis, contact angle roughness measurement. Additionally, single-lap joints fabricated adhesives with low high viscosity. effect changes viscosity on mechanical has been analysed detail. It was found that both sandblasting treatments applied caused significant improvement alloys, which chemically treated after being spheres pressure, joined adhesives, failure load these increased approximately 110% 68%, respectively, compared untreated samples. In case usage, increase rates determined be 93% 43%.

A high purity Ni plating layer was obtained on the surface of plain cotton fabric by electroless nickel plating. The micromorphology and elemental composition were characterized scanning electron microscopy (SEM) energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDS). Structural absorbing composites with glass fiber (GFs)/epoxy resin (EP) as permeable layer, coated fabric/EP carbon UD cloth (UDCFs)/EP reflecting prepared vacuum assisted perfusion (VARI). effects different thicknesses microwave absorption properties mechanical investigated. results show that lowest reflection loss (RL) is −31.02 dB, effective bandwidth (RL < −10 dB) 6.21 GHz (11.55 - 17.76 GHz), maximum tensile bending loads endured are 41.36 KN 1.63 at 15.14 a thickness 2.5 mm, which provides good reference value for subsequent preparation magnetic/dielectric both excellent properties.

Flame thermal spraying is an important technique in surface treatment of many materials exposed to external corrosion, including turbine blades power plants, bridges, and oil pipelines. Therefore, a ceramic material represented by aluminum oxide Al2O3 was used as base copper metal Cu added at different reinforcement ratios 5%, 10%, 15%, 20%, 25%Wt. To form cermet alloy. The two powders were mixed after taking into account the concentrations, mixture placed flame device crucible. acetylene gas ratio fixed 0.7 bar oxygen 4 best mixing obtained. coating process carried out on out-of-service blade bases with dimensions 20mm×5mm circular shape. After completing process, samples sintered oven 1100°C for only one half hours. scanning electron microscope (SEM) examined it found that adding we get regular homogeneous structure, sintering, also average grain size approximately 109nm. An EDX spectroscopy conducted show both alumina copper. Some mechanical properties which showed (75%Wt.Al2O3-25%Wt.Cu) micro-Vickers hardness be (605 kg/mm2), wear rate calculated gave lowest value (1.84×10-6g/cm). While adhesive strength coated uncoated sample find (53 MPa). true porosity water absorption give values

Abstract Reasonable texture parameters can effectively generate local dynamic pressure effects and promote the formation of lubrication film. The synergistic friction reduction mechanism shield-shaped on Silicon Carbide (SiC) surface under water-based conditions between flow effect ‘rolling ball’ is investigated by combining simulation analysis experiments. shield textured wear characteristics SiC interfacial polarization electric field different rotational speeds load were analyzed. results display that has a beneficial improving tribological properties. with 6% area occupancy showed best characteristics. displays optimal Moreover, mechanisms working are discussed, uniformly arranged surfaces being more suitable for high-speed heavy (140 N, 2000 rpm) non-uniformly low-speed light (40 400 conditions.
