ABSTRACT Developing a viscoelastic polymer damping material with broad range of effective temperatures at room temperature and multiple functionalities has been prominent research focus, possessing significant economic social importance. Herein, the elastic main chain was synthesized using branched polyester polyol (DPH) isophorone diisocyanate (IPDI). The suspension prepolymer fabricated monohydroxy long alkyl‐chain hydroxy silicone oil (OH‐PDMS) IPDI. Translucent polyurethane materials (BPUs) were prepared by reacting cross‐linking agent trimethylolpropane (TMP). influences introducing chains their content within structure on damping, mechanical, dynamic thermomechanical, water resistance properties comprehensively investigated. experimental results indicate that factor (Tan δ max ) decreases from 1.17 to 0.91 addition chain. Then, increase content, slightly. still reaches 0.84 66% content. At same time, gradually increases 56.4°C 119.4°C. glass transition decreased 58.9°C 27.8°C, enhancing performance temperature. It discovered SiOSi would delay decomposition soft segments enhance heat resistance. Additionally, when is raised 66%, hydrophobicity maximum level elongation break attains 423% ± 12%.
