Abstract
Shape
memory‐assisted
self‐healing
behavior
can
be
identified
by
their
ability
to
deform
and
recover
shape
under
external
stimuli
applied
force
complemented
spontaneous
repairing
of
damages,
extending
the
materials'
performance
service
life.
This
review
article
aims
provide
new
ideas
develop
memory
functions
in
elastomeric
materials
using
different
dynamic
reversible
crosslinking
methods
such
as
non‐covalent
covalent
interactions.
The
thermodynamic
kinetic
perspectives
elastomers
are
highlighted.
recent
development
with
enlightening
quantification
approach

is
provided.

ABSTRACT
Developing
a
viscoelastic
polymer
damping
material
with
broad
range
of
effective
temperatures
at
room
temperature
and
multiple
functionalities
has
been
prominent
research
focus,
possessing
significant
economic
social
importance.
Herein,
the
elastic
main
chain
was
synthesized
using
branched
polyester
polyol
(DPH)
isophorone
diisocyanate
(IPDI).
The
suspension
prepolymer
fabricated
monohydroxy
long
alkyl‐chain
hydroxy
silicone
oil
(OH‐PDMS)
IPDI.
Translucent
polyurethane
materials
(BPUs)
were
prepared
by
reacting
cross‐linking
agent
trimethylolpropane
(TMP).
influences
introducing
chains
their
content
within
structure
on
damping,
mechanical,
dynamic
thermomechanical,
water
resistance
properties
comprehensively
investigated.
experimental
results
indicate
that
factor
