The southernmost region of peninsular Italy, Calabria, hosts two well distinct sub-populations Retama raetam (Forssk.) Webb. subsp. gussonei (Webb) Greuter (Fabaceae), a Sicilian-Calabrian endemic shrub. population study model applied to this work on Calabrian threatened taxon, demonstrated be powerful tool.
