This study presents the development of a comprehensive model for evaluating level readiness buildings digital transformation during pre-construction phase. The proposed utilizes structural equation modeling (SEM) and includes full list key factors achieving success. tool is designed to support industry stakeholders in assessing operational efficiency terms phase (DTRPC) analyze effectiveness limitations DTRPC across various management levels. Key success were identified through interviews with experts review relevant literature. These variables then validated two rounds 8 Delphi technique, which included input 13 highly qualified experts. Finally, an online questionnaire was disseminated professionals, who assessed factors’ relative levels significance. Questionnaire responses collected from sample 300 individuals different professional fields. SEM used quantitatively relationships between components factors. goal determine impact each construct on overall readiness. underwent thorough evaluation its strength stability several parameters, including accuracy, conformity multivariate normalcy, reliability validity. A hypothesis analysis also conducted. data develop model, consisting 30 essential performance indicators grouped into four categories. use uncovered significant correlation these critical groups, as well influence effective constructs project performance. research expands current knowledge by identifying important indications using them create global that can be measuring at stage. has potential provide assistance organizations, managers, policymakers making informed decisions.

As an essential sector of the construction industry, bridge produces a large amount carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases, greatly intensifying global effect. Prefabricated reinforced concrete (RC) T-beams are vital type structural element widely used in projects such as river-spanning bridges, high-speed railways, urban expressways. This study proposes optimization framework using building information modeling (BIM) two-stage metaheuristic searching (MS) order to minimize emission prefabricated RC T-beams. Under constraints corresponding design specifications, first stage proposed MS is utilized optimize longitudinal steel section size area T-beam, with objective. The optimal combination rebar diameters then obtained second MS. An illustrative example also provided demonstrate performance framework. Moreover, compared conventional approaches well algorithms validate developed approach.

In the planning and management of civil facilities, geospatial data plays a crucial role. Traditionally, Geographic Information System (GIS) is tool for storing, manipulating analysing spatial geographic data. However, recent developments in new methods technologies are reshaping methodologies processes Architecture, Engineering Construction industry. Encouraged by current regulatory system, an improvement approach, leading from traditional to shared highly integrated digital model, now made possible using Building Modelling (BIM). The collaborative project environment, typical BIM tools, could become important key success factor, especially framework interoperability with other systems, such as GIS. Focusing on airfield, this study aims evaluate potentiality benefits given implementation airport facilities system their interaction surrounding area. results reveal that GIS enables achieve broader deeper understanding models larger territorial context, facilitating instance analysis interferences aircraft operations between surroundings. Furthermore, having implemented overall optimisation management, maintenance, control monitoring processes, well better quality saving time costs, be observed. For purpose, application case research work confirms validity related practical features proposed framework. fact, investigating main requirements characteristics taken into account during BIM-GIS present approach may constitute support facilities.
