Purpose Modern university libraries are evolving to meet students’ needs, offering varied study environments that cater both private and group work. While existing research has recognized the important of library environment, there remains a gap in understanding how individual attributes, such as age, gender, specific area locations feeling (different level emotion states) influence student satisfaction with interior design. This aims fill this by investigating hypothesized relationships between these attributes satisfaction. It offer practical design insights tailored needs students. Design/methodology/approach analyzed among 404 users across four areas one – two designed for quiet collaborative discussion using questionnaires distributed team. Analysis variance t -tests were used assess elements, including size, seating plan, layout, ergonomics openness, affect user A structural equation model was analyze perceived quality overall various environments, goal identifying improvements could enhance experience. Findings revealed traditional, non-co-working spaces expressed greater plan layout compared those co-working settings. Also, groups found openness be equally satisfactory, suggesting factors consistently well-received different spatial designs. Furthermore, highlighted “age” “location” (the where spent their time) significantly influenced users’ satisfaction, features well being particularly valued younger older users. Originality/value enhances elements libraries. By incorporating variables location, age feelings into analysis, it provides nuanced framework evaluate responses indoor environments. The findings highlight importance strategies suggest need improved tools measure complex interplay differences built environment.

Abstract The education and training of electrical substations play an essential role for college students engineers majoring in engineering. However, to ensure the substation's safety production equipment operation, it is difficult personnel from external units enter site learning. To overcome these limitations, this paper proposes a virtual interactive technology method author maintenance system (VMES) substations. aims build visual platform help learners master station's equipment, maintenance, evaluation, other processes. Firstly, establishes component‐level interaction element encapsulate substation model that dynamically responds user operations. structure environment are visually modeled using engineering modeling software. Secondly, created with functions 3D disassembly training, fault tree reliability AHP‐FCE assessment. Finally, through four operating systems, we evaluate compatibility VMES, recruit discuss emerging common educational models. practical application results prove can significantly improve students' learning efficiency interest. Meanwhile, due increased number operations participants proficiently composition working principles substations, cognitive load be reduced.
