Introduction: Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) have a higher risk for COVID-19-related complications. Knowledge and perception will greatly influence the behavior of COPD patient in dealing with problem, such as COVID-19 infection. The purpose study was to determine knowledge perceptions about respiration disorders during pandemic patients. This research mixed methods an explanatory sequential design. location conducted Rungkut District Surabaya City, East Java, from May-October 2022. Sampling by purposive sampling method, analyzed descriptively. sample 116 people. On knowledge, most correct answers were virus contagious (112 116). perception, answer positive level is question regarding use masks. Some respondents had low category (54 116), (57 respondents' showed transmitted through air. But many didn’t know type virus. Therefore, it necessary develop strategy increase related treatment.

In-duct ultraviolet germicidal irradiation systems (ID-UVs) is a promising technology for the development of biosecure buildings. This study explored Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) method accurately predicting inactivation efficiency ID-UVs. The results showed that setting ‘Divisions’ crucial to accuracy radiation field modelling, and 15 × was considered be reasonable value in this study. In addition, residence time deposition ratio are two parameters determining average UV dose (AD) received by microbial particles, thereby influencing efficiency. For ID-UVs without ribs, Renormalization Group (RNG) [Formula: see text] model largely overestimated these parameters, while Reynolds Stress Model (RSM) with correcting fluctuation velocity improved predictive AD 10.0%. RNG eddy size 28.6% 12.0%, respectively. RSM provided closer Large Eddy Simulation. Adding 0.10 H (H: duct height) ribs increased MS2 Bacteriophage 19.0%–64.3%, an additional pressure drop only 3.3 Pa. These findings contributed reliable CFD framework novel ideas improving
