The construction industry, a significant contributor to global carbon emissions, is pivotal in implementing reduction strategies. This study delves into the emissions associated with stage of prefabricated buildings (CSPB), burgeoning field research. Utilizing CiteSpace knowledge graph visualization software, we comprehensively analyzed literature from Web Science (WoS) database. Our encompasses several vital dimensions: academic paper publication volume, keyword co-occurrence network, network clustering, and citation burst analysis. findings indicate that topic building gaining increasing attention globally. Over past decade, related has surged by an average annual growth rate 41.42 %. Key research themes have emerged around quantification methodologies, influencing factors, mitigation strategies, use components, predictive studies on emissions. These insights underscore evolving focus critical importance this sustainability efforts.

Timber offices indicate a growing field, principally thanks to their potential offer noteworthy ecological and financial gains over entire life. Like many other building types, space efficiency is crucial design parameter in timber structures ensure project's feasibility. This factor especially significant office buildings, where maximizing rental income reflects effective planning. Currently, there lack of exhaustive inquiry providing thorough insight modern buildings. study fills this gap the literature by collecting data from 33 buildings through reviews case method investigate with key architectural structural factors that influence it. The results showed that: (i) central cores stood out as prevailing core layouts, while peripheral arrangements were noted alternative preferences. Prismatic shapes emerged most favored options; (ii) was extensively used primary material, closely followed combinations concrete. Load-bearing systems mainly relied on shear walled frames configurations; (iii) average utilization across examined cases 88%, variances ranging 75% 95% among different instances; (iv) ratio area GFA 10%, showing variations between 4% 19% various scenarios; (v) no substantial effect planning strategies spatial efficiency. Similar conclusions drawn regarding forms materials. Our paper will assist crafting principles customized for diverse stakeholders, including designers offices.
