To date, a plethora of research has been published investigating the value using Digital Twin (DT) technology in construction industry. However, contribution DT to promoting social sustainability industry largely unexplored. Therefore, current paper aims address this gap by exploring untapped potential advancing within end, comprehensive systematic literature review was conducted, which identified 298 relevant studies. These studies were subsequently analysed with respect their use supporting sustainability. The findings indicated that contributed 8 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), strong focus on SDG11 (77 publications), followed SDG3 and SDG9, 58 48 studies, respectively, focusing health well-being fostering resilient infrastructure innovation. Other contributions for SDG13 (30 studies), SDG7 (27 SDG12 (26 SDG4 (21 SDG6 (11 covering areas such as climate action, responsible consumption, affordable energy, quality education, clean water sanitation. This also proposes future directions further enhance include (i) enhancing inclusivity diversity, (ii) workforce safety well-being, (iii) training skill development, (iv) policy regulatory support, (v) cross-disciplinary collaboration.

Abstract The primary goal of Structural Health Monitoring (SHM) is to assess performance and determine the physical state structures. Technological improvements ubiquitous accessibility Wi-Fi networks have enhanced real-time SHM based on Internet Things (IoT). Extensive structural health evaluation can be conducted using test data collected from various IoT sensors civil infrastructures. These monitor multiple parameters, accessible via cloud-based storage platforms. This paper presents an overview technologies provides extensive literature review applications for infrastructures, highlighting associated challenges.

Improvements in the navigation systems incorporated into unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and new sensors are improving quality of 3D mapping results. In this study, two flights were compared over archaeological remains castle Almenara, situated Cuenca, Spain. We performed one with a DJI Phantom 4 (DJI Innovations Co., Ltd., Shenzhen, China) other Matrice 300 RTK Zenmuse P1 camera (45 mp, RGB sensor). With help software gimbal, we could significantly reduce flight time. analysed data obtained these UAVs built-in sensors, comparing time, point cloud, its resolution obtaining three-dimensional reconstruction castle. describe work carried out, depending on type UAV positioning system. Reverse engineering (RE) is essential in recreating 3D models of existing manufactured parts. It widely used for repairing damaged components, improving parts, and designing new items based on older models. One the most common methods RE photogrammetry, which enables reconstruction by capturing multiple images. Therefore, this study aimed to explore application mobile photogrammetry obtain a model train brake pad. The process started with images objects quick professional manner ensure visualization data. This was followed processing 2D using Agisoft Metashape 2.2.1 software Artificial Intelligence (AI) algorithms create precise model. Subsequently, assessment performed feasibility terms cost, time, accuracy. results show that provided an accessible cost-effective method, alongside maximum contact stress after reducing optimization approximately 28.42%, error value measured virtual reference 0.30 mm (on Metashape) 0.46 AI). suggested reverse parameterization significantly accelerated computer-aided design (CAD) reduced part redesign development cycle. By parametric modeling, engineers could accurately analyze optimize pads, ensuring safety as well sustainability railway operations. Additionally, modeling assist creating durable, alternatives, predicting appropriate replacements.
