It concluded that: (1) Under influence natural factors such as piedmont, climate, altitude, gradient, slope, geological environment, geomorphic characteristics, uneven distribution greatly affected vegetation, rainfall, heat distribution, wind direction, suitability for human activities, especially topography; (2) The forms three distinct levels relationships between east west slopes, high, medium low elevations, different gradients.

Agricultural geography has developed for over a century. To review the recent development in this field, 1879 journal articles on agricultural published between 2013 and 2022 are analyzed using multi-leveled bibliometric methods visualized by VOSviewer. Seven research themes identified: “climate change food”, “environmental sustainability”, “land political ecology”, “water resources”, “rural geography”, “economic development”, “spatial analysis”. Theory practice two strands, with few authors publishing extensively, indicating lack of an active long-term community. Geographical factors significantly influence research, international collaborations showing regional patterns. China is emerging player, developing independently from Western peers.
