ABSTRACT
The
increase
in
the
use
of
trails
for
outdoor
recreation
recent
decades
has
led
to
pressure
on
existing

Mountain
biking
is

popular
recreational
activity

trails
designed,
constructed
and
maintained
by
land
managers.
Increasingly,
there
