Abstract Gallium‐based (Ga‐based) liquid metals have attracted considerable interest due to their low melting points, enabling them feature both properties and metallic at room temperature. In light of this, Ga‐based also possess excellent deformability, high electrical thermal conductivity, superior metal affinity, unique self‐limited surface oxide, making popular functional materials in energy storage. This provides a possibility construct high‐performance rechargeable batteries that are deformable, free dendrite growth, so on. review primarily starts with the property metal, then focuses on potential applications by exploiting these advantages, aiming correlation between structures. Rechargeable aluminum batteries (RAB) are a promising energy storage system with high safety, long cycle life, and low cost. However, the strong corrosiveness of chloroaluminate ionic liquid electrolytes (ILEs) severely limits development RAB separators.
