With continuous depletion of fossil fuels, a hike in global temperature due to CO2 emissions, and increasing population Earth, the demand for alternative green renewable energy sources has become undeniable. Hydrogen, potential fuel production, can be produced way by water electrolysis with little no carbon emissions. As some parts world still face challenge drinking crisis, using clean, drinkable hydrogen production becomes concern. Households, agriculture, pharmacies, industries release lot polluted wastewater into environment, biological oxygen causing ecological imbalance. If is used as feedstock producing hydrogen, it address both crisis scarcity. In this review, from classified two parts: direct treatment methods followed generation. The technology, beyond all doubt, beneficial generation, reducing emission contributing net-zero future.
