Pesticide poisoning has emerged as a significant public health concern on global scale. China diverse range of agricultural practices and varying pesticide usage across its regions. Nevertheless, there is paucity research the epidemiology in China. To address this gap, our study was undertaken to investigate epidemiological characteristics Zhejiang Province. data for Province from 2008 2022 extracted National Occupational Disease Health Information Monitoring System. A descriptive statistical analysis had been employed explore temporal, demographic, regional distribution cases. Furthermore, logistic regression models were conducted analyze influence factors pesticide-related death. Between years 2022, totally 64,605 cases observed Province, with case fatality rate 5.28%. The incidence estimated 7.23 per 100,000 population. number, rates all exhibited fluctuating decreasing trends during period. Intentional (suicide) accounted 64.64% cases, intentional also significantly higher than occupational accidental poisoning. In examining death, it revealed that older individuals, males, those experiencing either or risk identified patients treated township level hospitals death compared district/county provincial/municipal primary care hospitals. current situation remains severe government should further strengthen monitoring governing pesticide. Moreover, imperative mental education early psycho-social interventions be given greater emphasis effectively reduce suicides.
