Purpose This study aims to develop a chain-mediated model examine how streamer and product characteristics influence consumer behavior inertia (CBI) based on an extended cognitive-affective-conative (CAC) perspective. Design/methodology/approach used online survey concerning the livestreaming activities of 250 experienced shoppers measure proposed model. Findings Streamer (product) attractiveness mediates relationship between shopping experience memory. memory have chain mediating effect CBI. Originality/value Theoretically, demonstrates critical role in formation complements current explanations continuance buying through livestreaming. From managerial standpoint, findings provide guidelines for enterprises carrying out business improve realize stable profit source.
