Isometric exercise is a non-pharmacologic intervention to improve muscle hemodynamic responses and blood pressure in humans. However, the effects of intensity, duration, mass factors isometric on local systemic regulation have not been studied. The purpose this study was assess whether various modes could induce levels that are related changes. Near-infrared spectroscopy used after 4 protocols 20 healthy adults. One-way analysis variance (ANOVA) with repeated measures effect oxyhemoglobin, deoxy-hemoglobin, volume, oxygenation. For oxygenation, lowest mean recorded for unilateral handgrip at 30% MVC 2 min (−0.317 ± 0.379 μM) while highest observed wall squat (1.496 0.498 μM, P < 0.05). Additionally, both bilateral 1 (1.340 0.711 0.05) 20% 3 (0.798 0.324 significantly higher than min. Blood showed an inverse trend oxygenation changes forearm muscle. indicates duration more effective systematic regulation, suggests factor following contractions may mediate regulation.

Abstract Currently, one in three adults worldwide may be obese or overweight. Obesity is characterized by an excess of energy‐storing white fat. An ingenious and sought‐after strategy against obesity to activate energy‐consuming beige fat, which converted from fat brown However, existing tools for assessing activation vivo have certain limitations, such as being cumbersome expensive. Optical imaging a relatively straightforward economical technique that utilizes light peer into the structural–functional information living organisms at multiple scales. Despite availability various optical modalities detecting there dearth literature summarizing relevant studies. Accordingly, this review focuses on these elaborates their principles, characteristics, recent research advances detection Their targets, advantages, disadvantages are further concluded. As methodological reference, can guide selection optimal noninvasively profile specific biological perspective, maximizing potential anti‐obesity assessment.
